Itinerary:

Join me for a hike up and down Stone Mountain, then around it on the Cherokee Trail.

We will meet at the base of the walk-up trail, near the restrooms behind the Historical & Environmental Education Center (formerly called Confederate Hall). After hiking up and back down the mountain, we will take the Cherokee Trail around the mountain. We will go at a moderate pace around 2.6 to 2.8 mph, and will allow time to take photos.

While the event itself has no cost, if you don't have a park pass you will need to pay $20 for a park pass ($40 for an annual pass) or park at the lot in Stone Mountain village and walk into the park. If you park in the village, allow about 15 minutes to walk to our meeting spot.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for introductions so we can start on time.
