Itinerary:

Come join me for this Tuesday morning hike exploring a trail you might not be familiar with. We'll be covering about 5 miles on trails designed for mountain bikers, but welcoming to hikers as well. We'll hike at a steady moderate pace and stop as needed for water breaks and to gather the group together; otherwise, we'll move along.  There are directional rules for both bikers and hikers, so we'll have to obey the postings and yield to bikers.  Hopefully, at this time of day, we won't have too much competition from our mechanical companions.

There are three sets of trails at Olde Rope Mill.  We will be hiking on the MILLS trails, which are moderately difficult - - so this is NOT a hike for beginners or for members who do not have sure footing on trails or who can't maintain a moderate pace.

I've hiked this trail, but it's been many years since I've done it - - so I'm marking the hike as exploratory just in case I take a wrong turn.

If you bring a dog, it must be kept on leash at all times! The reputation of the AOC is at stake on our group hikes.

This is a map of all three trails.  We'll be hiking on the MILL trails:   http://www.horizongroup.com/ Post/sections/11035/Files/Click%20here%20to%20download%20Mall%20 Map.pdf

The park is just down the street from the Woodstock Outlet Mall, so some of you might like to extend the day browsing through the shops.
