Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike at Sope Creek .  We will start our hike promptly at 9:00 a.m. and hike for two hour and 5.0 miles.   Hike will be at a moderate pace.  There are a few rolling hills, nothing super strenous. 

 There have been cases of vandalsm to vehicles so leave all valuables at home.

 

$5 parking fee required unless you have a CRNRA Annual pass.  Meet at the Sope Creek parking lot on Paper Mill Road.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Paper Mill Road entrance of the Chattahoochee  RIver National Recreational Area.

From eastbound Interstate 285

  • Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
  • Left For 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
  • Left for 2.7 miles to the junction of Johnson Ferry Road and Paper Mill Road.
  • Left onto Paper Mill Road for 3.0 miles, entrance will be on the left.

From westbound Interstate 285

  • Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
  • North For 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
  • Left for 2.7 miles to the junction of Johnson Ferry Road and Paper Mill Road.
  • Left onto Paper Mill Road for 3.0 miles, entrance will be on the left.
