Itinerary:

We will hike at a brisk pace along the river on a gravel multi-use path and then head into the woods from the boardwalk. There are a few small hills with rocks and roots and an elevation gain of about 440 ft. We will try to avoid the mountain biking trails as much as possible and will pass by a small cemetery before returning back to the path along the river.

This is NOT a hike for beginners since we will be moving at a quick pace with few stops.

Please meet by the bathrooms 10 minutes before the hike starts so we can make introductions and start on time.

From I-285 W, take exit 22 for New Northside Dr toward Northside Dr/Powers Ferry Rd. Turn right onto New Northside Dr. Continue onto Interstate N Pkwy for about 0.8 mile and the parking entry is on the right.

From I-285 E, take exit 22 for New Northside Dr toward Northside Dr/Powers Ferry Rd. Turn left onto New Northside Dr. Continue onto Interstate N Pkwy for about 0.8 mile and the parking entry is on the right.
