Itinerary:

Join us for nice hike along the Pinhoti trail, one of Ed's trip leader training events. We'll start at Snake Creak Gap/GA 136 (mile 267.9 on the Pinhoti), hike past Pitchers Pond (mile 262.3) and then on to the Keown Falls Loop (mile 260.8). We'll stop at the Falls for lunch and then head back home. We'll total approximately 15.25 miles with a reasonable 2500 feet in elevantion gain, so we'll try to keep the pace at the brisk-like level -- 2.7 - 3.0+ mph.

All that adds up to a D5 hike, so please be sure you've got appropriate recent experience to sign up. Email the trip leaders if you have questions.
