Itinerary:

Come join me on a wonderful and vigorous hike at Vineyard Mountain.

We will start at the yellow trail and walk along some fairly gently slopes until we reach the place where we can stop for a minute, drink a bit of water and look at the Alatoona Dam.

At this point, we will hike up the challenging redtrail and stop at the top for a few minute break.

We will then walk down the blue trail, pick up the yellow trail and get back to our cars.

The hike is rugged and the distance fairly short so this is a good hike for folks ready for a challenging D4!

Please arrive a few minutes before the hike for introductions.

Northbound:

Take 75 North to exit 285.

Turn Right at exit 285 and drive along until you reach the lake.

Right BEFORE the bridge, there is a parking lot and this is where we will meet.

Notes:
