Itinerary:

While not as well known as some of the other branches of the Chattahoochee NRA, Jones Bridge has an excellent system of trails which can be combined to provide five miles or so of hiking. Much of our hike will be along the river, but a good bit of it will be in the nearby woods. There will be a few hills you will need to climb but nothing with over a 150 foot elevation gain. There is also a good chance you will see some deer in the more isolated parts of this park. 
 
Due to the park closing a half hour after sunset, the hike will begin promptly at 5pm.  Please arrive a few minutes early. 

Three dollar parking fee or Chattahoochee NRA annual parking pass required.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From GA 400, take exit 7a, and head East 4.1 miles through the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Nesbitt Ferry Road to the junction of Barnwell Road. Turn left on Barnwell Rd, and travel approx 2 miles to Jones Bridge Branch which will be on the right. Turn in and go a little over 1/2 mile to large parking lot at end of road.
