Itinerary:

What a deal we have for you! Rich Hull, an AOC member, has managed to obtain 15 tickets into Dunaway Gardens, a beautiful botanical garden/wedding venue in Newnan, Georgia. Tickets for the gardens are $10, but we are getting them free of charge!

We will carpool to Dunaway Gardens, arriving there at our reservation time of 11 am. We'll stroll the grounds for a couple of hours, taking pictures and enjoying the scenic views; then, we'll head to lunch at the Blue Eyed Daisy bakery in the Serenbe area, about 15 minutes from the gardens.

Folks who prefer to skip lunch and return home after the garden tour may do so. just be sure everyone in your carpool agrees to leaving early.

This will not be a strenuous hike, by any means. We can separate and go our separate ways through the grounds and meet up at 1 o'clock to head for lunch. After lunch, we'll head back to the carpool, arriving no later than 3:30-4 pm.

From Atlanta to Dunaway Gardens:

3218 Roscoe Road-Highway 70, Newnan, GA 30263

Take I-85 South Past Hartsfield Airport, merge Right onto Exit 69 South Fulton Parkway (Spur 14) (stay in left lane for first two mile Go 20.7 miles

Then turn Left onto Campbellton Redwine Road (this road becomes Highway 70 at Coweta County line) Go 7.1 miles

Turn Right just after the bridge into the stone and gated entranceway to Dunaway Gardens

If gate is closed, press call button.

Through entranceway bear Left to parking uphill.

Directions back to Atlanta from Historic Dunaway Gardens (for those not going to lunch).

Take Left out of Dunaway Gardens

Go 7.1 miles, turn Right onto South Fulton Parkway,

Go 20.7 miles, Merge onto I-85 or I-285
