OVERVIEW: Looks like the weather is shaping up to be very "fall-like" this Sunday afternoon, with the expected high only about 70 degrees and a slight chance of a shower - so consider carrying some light raingear. On this leisurely-paced "D3" hike we'll stop often to enjoy the wildflowers, fall foliage, birds, and other wild critters while hiking at least SEVEN different nice trails, some which have been seldom if ever offered by the AOC. Exploring some of these "wilder" places on the shoulder of the mountain and around its base can be fun for those who have hiked thus far only on the most popular and well known marked trails. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=303112&id=648793487&l=00a69951aa http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stone_Mountain | |||||||
