If you're up for an evening bike ride/spin and want to log in some miles before the start of the work week, get a decent workout in for the weekend, meet new people, or simply want to take a pleasant bike ride, come join us at Cochran Shoals on Sunday evening as we ride 3-5 laps/15-25 miles (5 miles per lap) around Columns Drive (This is a very popular biking place for many bike riders) - this is a street bike ride but with a bike path - All bikes are welcome: road, hybrid, mountain, etc.
NOTE: Please show up 5-10 minutes before the event to sign in.

How to Get There: | |||||||||
Event Directions: | From I-75 north, take I-285 (the perimeter highway) east towards Augusta. Exit soon at Northside Drive; turn left on Northside Drive, which circles around and crosses onto Interstate North Parkway. [From I-85 north, Take I-285 west, exit Northside Drive, which crosses onto Interstate North Parkway.] River parking lots are next to bridge off Parkway; parking fees may apply. The trail heads north along the river; the Cochran Shoals Fitness Trail is a 3-mile loop with the parking area at Columns Drive as the halfway point. | ||||||||
