Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike through the trails of the Vickery Creek section of the Chattahoochee NRA.  This is one of my favorite areas of the CNRA.  The trails are scenic with the sound of rushing water.  

This is a great hike for beginners.  We will hike at a moderate pace stopping along the way to catch our breath.  There are some moderate climbs but nothing too hard.  We will not go by the cliffs but will go to the dam and the Roswell Machine Shop  

There are restrooms at this location.

Please arrive a few minutes early to check in.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but in accordance with park rules, they must be on a leash.

- No flip flops or shoes without a back strap

- Epi Pen/Inhaler if needed

We are meeting behind the shops at the Roswell Mill Center where the parking is free.  It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect.  Keep driving down the road until you get to the big parking lot at the very bottom of the hill.  For a zoomable map or satellite view of that spot click the rectangular blue and green "event location" icon near the top of this article.
