Itinerary:

Please join us for an excellent beginner hike.  This trail is totally flat with no roots or rocks.   It is part paved and part soft small gravel. 

Rather than try to walk a certain distance, we will be walking approx 45 minutes on the trail and then will turn back.  Note that part of the hike is not shady so if it is sunny out and you are sensitive to the sun bring a hat and/or sunscreen.

Please call one of the trip leaders if you are running late because we will start on time as it gets dark earlier.  

Dogs are welcome but in accordance with park rules, dogs must be on a leash at all times.

We will meet in the parking lot close to the bathrooms.

Water to keep you hydrated even on cool days
Comfortable walking shoes
A head light or small flashlight
