Why not? Let's try doing a trail run at West Palisades.

If you aren't familiar with the park, you may want to print and bring a trail map: http://www.nps.gov/ chat/planyourvisit/maps.htm. We plan to stay together, but you are welcome to do your own route if you are comfortable with the park and running alone. We do ask that you meet us back at the parking lot after the one hour run. We will account for everyone.

 

We will start on time or a few minutes early if everyone is there early. 


Please remember to bring $3 cash for the National Park Service parking fee, unless you have a Chattahoochee NRA annual pass.

From northbound Interstate 75
- Take Exit 256 - Mt. Paran Road NW.
- Turn Left at Mt. Paran Road NW, go 0.1 mile.
- Turn right at US 41/Northside Parkway NW. go 1 mile park entrance is on your left.

From southbound Interstate 75
- Take exit 258 - Cumberland Boulevard.
- Turn right at Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.3 miles.
- Turn left at US 41 S/GA 3 S/Cobb Parkway SE, go 0.6 miles park entrance is on your right.

From eastbound Interstate 285
- Take exit 20 - Interstate 75 S, go 0.8 miles.
- Keep left at fork to Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.4 miles.
- Turn right at Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.3 miles.
- Turn left at US 41 S/GA 3 S/Cobb Parkway SE, go 0.6 miles park entrance is on your right.

From westbound Interstate 285
- Take exit 20 - Interstate 75 S/US 41/Cumberland Boulevard
- Keep left at fork to Interstate 75 S/Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.6 miles.
- Keep left at fork to Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.4 miles.
- Turn right at Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.3 miles.
- Turn left at US 41 S/GA 3 S/Cobb Parkway SE, go 0.6 miles park entrance is on your right.
