Itinerary:

Come join us for a morning hike, then have the rest of the day free for your activies.  Jones Bridge has picturesque overlooks and half of the hike will be along the Chattachoochee River. 

We will keep a constant steady pace with one or no brief pauses to keep everyone together.  We will start by hiking to the historic bridge and up the small hill to get the heart rate up and warm up.  We will walk along the river and go through the woods, then loop back to our starting point.  There are a few hills but most of the trail is relatively flat.

We will meet in the parking lot at the very end of the entrance road.  Restrooms are available.

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

If you don't have an annual park pass, please come a few minutes early to pay the $3 parking fee.

For your GPS, the address to input is 

From GA 400, take exit 7a, and head East 4.1 miles through the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Nesbitt Ferry Road to the junction of Barnwell Road. Turn left on Barnwell Rd, and travel approx 2 miles to Jones Bridge Branch which will be on the right. Turn in and go a little over 1/2 mile to large parking lot at end of road.
