This Saturday has a nice weather in stock in Helen GA! Mid-week rainfall might even help raise the water level a bit, for good buoyancy

Join me in scenic Helen, Ga for cool tubing down the Chattahoochee River. I recommend taking the longer 2 hour float route so we can get the full enjoyment out of the day. However, you have the option of taking the 1 hr float if you plan to return to Atlanta early or just want to enjoy other aspects of the township of Helen, GA. You will have to coordinate this with your carpool partners if you happen to be sharing a ride.

For those with a sense of adventure, you can add the twisting and turning waterslide to your tubing pass and add to the excitment! I personally recommend it!

Unfortunately, no adult beverages are allowed on the river BUT, for those interested after our float, we can grab a bite and brew in downtown Helen before heading back.

NOTE: The water is knee deep in most places, However, it is highly recommended you know how to swim and be comfortable in swift moving water to attend this event.

Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $56.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Cost Includes:

Members will pay directly to Cool River Tubing Company in Helen.

It's $5 per person to float only and $8 to combine floating with waterslide.

If we are able to gather 10 or more folks just before registration we can take advantage of the following group rates. I recommend bringing single $ notes to facilitate this process, because we'll have to collect monies from everyone and pay for each group of 10 or more at the same time.
