Itinerary:

Enjoy an early gentle morning run next to the river at Cochran Shoals.

There are no expectations here. If you fall behind it is no big deal, we'll run along Cochran Shoals trail which is a loop. One loop equals 3 miles. The plan is to run the loop maybe once, twice, or as many times as your running appetite desires. After each loop, we'll end up back at the parking lot. You can not get lost on this trail run...it's a loop!

Required Items to Bring:

Good trail running shoes

Running gear appropriate for trail and weather conditions

Water bottle if needed, but there are water fountains and restrooms on both ends of the trail

From eastbound Interstate 285 Take exit 22, Northside Drive, New Northside Drive, Powers Ferry Road. Go to second traffic light and go left onto New Northside Drive. Use “through” lane to pick up Interstate North Parkway. Unit will be immediately on the right after crossing the Chattahoochee. From westbound Interstate 285 Take exit 22, Northside Drive, New Northside Drive, Powers Ferry Road. Right on New Northside Drive. Use “through” lane to pick up Interstate North Parkway. Unit will be immediately on the right after crossing the Chattahoochee.

Notes:

RThere is a $3 parking fee payable by cash or check at the parking lot unless you already have a season pass.
