Itinerary:

Please join us for a Sunday morning hike.  This hike will take a place in Suwanee Creek Park.  It is the 85-acre park that has been left substantially in its natural condition.  It has additional hard- and soft-surface trails.  Suwanee Creek Park offers a recreation area ideal for family picnics and reunions; it's also home to Suwanee's 18-hole disc golf course.

The park is located at 1170 Buford Highway near the City’s southern limit.

We will have a 5 miles hike around the park using its multiple trails.  I love those trails!  The view of all the trees and streams really keep your mind off walking.  You can track your progress with the mile marker located along the trail.

Bottle of water, walking shoes or boots

I-85 North

Take Exit 109 - Old Peachtree Road

Turn Left onto Old Peachtree Road NW

Turn Right onto S. Scales Road

Turn Right onto Buford Highway

Suwanee Creek Park will be on your right side - 1170 Buford Highway, Suwanee, GA 30024

Turn Right once you have entered the Park, Go to the Main Pavilion Parking Lot

 

From Duluth: Buford Hwy North

Suwanee Creek Park will be on your right side just before McGinnis Ferry Rd.

Go to the Main Pavilion Parking Lot by turning Right once you have entered the Park.

Parking is free and there are restrooms at the trailhead.
