Itinerary:
This is a fitness hike for intermediate to advanced hikers. The hike is approximately 12 miles round trip with an above average hiking speed. We’re going to start from the bottom of the falls and hike up to the trailhead. From the trailhead, we will hike the AT Approach and return back via the Len Foote route. We should be back in Atlanta early afternoon.

Please plan on bringing a small lunch and snack.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From the Park & Ride we will go north on Georgia 400 past the outlet Mall to GA 136. Left on 136 till GA 52. Right until the park entrance. We will gather at the Visitor Center parking lot near the entrance.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $41.60 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
