Itinerary:

Join us for an afternoon walk along Lake Lanier. The Little Ridge Trail is a 2 mile trail that consists of a lolipop and a loop which meander along shoreline of Lake Lanier. It is a an easy trail with little elevation change and very scenic. The trail is approximately 2 miles so we'll walk it twice, reversing directions the second time.

Dogs are welcome. The trail is used by persons walking their dog(s) quite often, so please only bring dogs that are well behaved amongst other dogs.

 

This is the last hike of the day as part of a 3 trail series. Prior to this hike we will be hiking The Haw Creek Trail, having lunch at Bravos before that, and starting the day at the Laurel Ridge trail.

3295 Lanier Beach South Rd Cumming , GA 30041

From the South:

GA400 N to exit 14 Hwy 20, go East and turn Left at 2nd light, Sanders rd. Turn right (E) on Buford dam Rd.

Follow approximately 1.8 miles to Lanier Beach South, turn left. Follow to end of rd to Lanier Beach Park / Little Ridge Trail.

 From Haw Creek: 

South to Hwy 20, turn Right on Hwy 20 (Buford Hwy), Right onto Samples Rd, Left onto Lanier Beach South, follow to the end.
