Itinerary:

Do you like half cream and half milk for your coffee, or half a sandwich and half a soup for lunch? Then you are going to LOVE a HALF TRAIL HIKE AND HALF URBAN HIKE. So here we gooooo... this first day of 2015

HALF TRAIL HIKE - We will begin by hiking the Roswell Mill Park and part of the Vickery Creek

HALF URBAN HIKE - Then we will proceed towards the urban part of our hike. We will roam Historic Roswell and pass by the Smith Plantation House, Old cemetary, Bullock Hall and Barrington Hall. There are several plaques along the way detailing information about these age-old structures. 

We would like everyone to stay together as a group especially while crossing at intersections. We will be walking on gravel paths and side walks with quite a few hills. This hike will cover approximately 5 miles. You will need to complete the entire hike to receive credit for it not just half of it. 

We will meet at the parking lot of Roswell Mill. Please read directions below. There are restrooms available here. We will start on time so please arrive a few minutes early.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Roswell Mill is at 120 and S. Atlanta Road in Roswell. Use either the physical address below or the lat/lon coordinates to get your own directions.

The parking lot of Roswell Mill is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect. There's a popular restaurant called Chaplin's in that shopping center. When you turn in to the shopping center (from either direction or from Hwy 120)) you will be on Mill St.  Stay on Mill Street (it winds around), all the way down to the bottom of the hill.
