Itinerary:

Please join me at the Sope Creek section of the Chattahoochee NRA where we will hike about 6 miles. These are nice and well-marked trails and we will probably travel into the Cochran Shoals side of the park and back along the way.

This is a moderate to fast paced hike. Most of the hike is along flat to rolling terrain trails, but we will encounter some hills as well to make this a good workout. We will take a few breaks along the way to regroup as needed.

We will meet at the entrance that is along Paper Mill Road (see address and GPS coordinates above). You will need $3 cash for a daily parking pass if you don't have an annual Chattahoochee park pass.

Dogs are welcome, but must be on leash at all times, per the park rules, and must get along with other dogs.

The physical address is approximate, I suggest using google maps to find directions to the venue. If you haven't been here before, please plan for additional time in case you miss the entrance.
