Itinerary:

We will start at the Visitor's Center...all the way at the end of the road that you enter on and into the park area.  We will walk up the road for a mile, then head into the woods...going through the lollipop section and back around to the river areas, etc.  Might take it a bit slower at a moderate pace (moderate, not slow) for the 5 miles.  If we feel adventurous, will go around the "magicial" lake for a few extra steps.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From Atlanta, travel north on Highway 400 to Northridge Road - Exit 6.

As you exit, remain in the right lane and cross the highway bridge.

Turn right (north) at the first traffic light to Dunwoody Place.

Continue north for 0.6 mile and turn right (east) on Roberts Drive.

Go for 0.7 mile, crossing beneath Highway 400 to Island Ford Parkway.

Turn right (north) into the park.


Notes:

Restrooms are available at the Visitor's Center which is at the end of Island Ford Parkway.  Open during their regular business hours.
