     What a fine event we had today . . . one of the best Monday morning hikes ever! We met at Cochran Shoals Interstate North and hiked the two miles to the Sun Trust Stadium where Trena had arranged for a stadium tour for our 25 participants. Because we had over 20 participants, we got a special rate of $15 - - and we all felt it was very well worth it. We got to see places that only VIPs have access to during games . . . and we had the stadium to ourselves!  
     The weather couldn't have been more perfect for the hiking part of our day with cool air and bright, sunny skies.  
     Following the 90 minute tour, the group spread throughout the Battery to choose an appealing place for lunch. Then it was a nice little trek back to the parking lot to cap off a terrific morning. ~ Joyce
