Yet another great hike, completely rain free on a day that multiple thunderstorms were in the forecast. The park was especially beautiful today, still damp from this morning's rain, making the colors of the woods rich and lush. There were also very few people at the park, likely due to the dismal weather forecast for today.

How nice to see Fay again after several years. Today's hike was one of the very few D2's in her hike history. She's usually on D5-D6 hikes on the weekends!
