We slowed down the pace today for a very comfortable hike around the Cherokee Trail, starting with a trek through the Nature Trail (orange) , and counter clockwise around the mountain, staying on the white blaze till we once again accessed the orange trail which took us back to our gathering place. As expected, we hiked 5.52 miles, but we added an extra 20 minutes to allow for a slower pace.
