Write Up:
Fall colors are still vibrant at Vickery Creek.  The two-hour hike included the covered bridge and the dam, wonderful sights for those members new to the area.  A big welcome to Karen Stephens, a brand new AOC member, and to Catie Luoma who was back for her second AOC hike. It was a pleasure meeting you both and sharing the morning with you.  Chris, thanks again for setting a great pace and for keeping us on the right trail;  and finally, a big hug to all of you who continue to make my events a total pleasure.
