You just can't trust the weather reports.  What was supposed to be a morning of rain (70% chance) turned out to a delightfully cool, dry two hours.  Our group was small and able to pick up the pace a bit, so in addition to the White, Red and Blue Trails, John added a couple of little known detours to see the beautiful dead tree, the picturesque pond, and the old jalopies.  Of course, we had plenty of excellent mushroom sightings along the way, adding to our many photo opportunities. (Four of us had cameras) We had such a good time, five of the six of us stayed for the second hike of the morning. . . which highlighted the Yellow Trail.
