Hakeem called it a D2, but there wasn't anything easy about this hike at East Palisades.  We kept up a very healthy pace covering well over 4 miles, including the rock overlook, the bamboo forest, the cave, and yes - - even the BAH! (Mark R. gets credit for naming that hill and other ultra-challenging ascents.)  We all made it up that hill with nary a complaint, keeping in mind that Armin does it at triple our speed several times over!  We had Neevra with us, who is a relative newcomer (welcome to the AOC!), and some folks who've been away for quite a while. It was so nice to see all of you.

The weather was perfect today.  If you weren't outside hiking today, you missed one of the prettiest fall days yet!
