Write Up:
Third time is a charm, and Tony and I couldn't have asked for a better day for our hike to Yonah Mt. We trekked up the winding trail to the first beautiful overlook. The view to the valley below was spectacular. We continued up and reached the edge of the rock face. There were climbers scaling the wall and Tony’s favorite soaring birds. Everyone maneuvered the narrow edge to reach the summit where we stopped to have a relaxing lunch. The group, now fueled up, started on our way back down, but not before we ventured to an area with large boulders that we climbed on. It was a fun day for all. ***If anyone goes back up there and finds a pair of prescription Ray Bans…retrieve them please, I lost mine.
